Washing: Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a conditioner specifically designed for human hair extensions. Gently detangle the hair with a wide-tooth comb before washing. Wash the hair in a downward motion, avoiding vigorous rubbing or twisting, which can cause tangling. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, ensuring no product residue remains.
Conditioning: Apply a good quality conditioner from mid-length to the ends of the hair. Avoid applying conditioner near the roots to prevent oiliness. Leave the conditioner on for a few minutes, then rinse it out with cool water. This helps to seal the hair’s cuticles.
